Hey guys,
I am still lurking round! Well its been over a year now since I started growing my hair and its gradually getting *there*. I have posted my pictures on my website on the hair growth page. There are some wet pics, a dry pic with no gel!!!! Yes my hair is THAT thick! I also tried a L.O.T.R style half tail (top typed back only). Any comments or suggestions welcome :-)
Im thinking of getting a trim on tuesday to level my hair out a little and get rid of some split ends...necessary in your opinion?

Guess a "little" trim (if this is your desire) won't be any big deal. But please, your hair is so fantastic-looking the way it is now, check-out who is going to do this trim so you won't walk away 4-5 months back in time. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Good Luck.

Great progress in 1 year! Shiny, very thick hair.
The dry one looks a bit frizzy but still 'under control.
You have the type of hair that may require a bit of 'something' in it
at all times.
From the photos, I cannot tell if what you have are split ends or just
a case of the dry 'frizzies.'
If you do have something done to your hair, be very
specific with your instructions!!! If you absolutely want to get rid
of ONLY the frizzies, make this VERY CLEAR or don't do it at all!

Your hair looks good, there is no reason IMO for a trim NOW! Do you think you have already at that length spitted ends?? I think they only appear in really long hair. The pic with the dry hair, you can see your hair is healthy :-)

Hmmm yes, some of the comments have made me think.... Im still considering a little trim but I will make sure that is all it is! Somebody asked if Id had any trims so far, well I had 1 tiny trim about 2 months in and then a slightly larger trim about 4 months ago.

I trimmed my own hair, twice just to get it equal length all round, went pretty well but I have wavy hair, I imagine its much harder to trim straight hair yourself. I live in a town about 40 mins drive from Cardiff. Ill have to check out Wrexham sometime.
