Does anyone think it's a good idea to wash my hair using only conditioner and no shampoo, its feeling kinda greasy right now so I want to wash it.
Yeah, thats what I do. It works great. I only shampoo on Friday nights. I hate that washed poofy hair feeling after washing. So I save it for when no one will see me like that.
I recommend using a light good quality conditioner (or creme rinse) every day and then using shampoo 2 or 3 times a week depending on your hair and activity level. Good conditioner won't build up but your hair will keep producing oils and it's good to clean it out now and then by shampooing. Always condition after shampooing and once every week or two use a deep conditioner.
Some people find that different things work for them so try stuff and see how your hair reacts.
If you look on boards with mostly women with long hair, you'll see that conditioning only (CO) washing is done by many women. They just clarify once every 3 weeks or so. (baking soda is great for this!). But it all boils down to trying it and seeing if it works for you.
There is NEVER one single answer to any hair question ;-)
Yea, Mick is right. I think I misunderstood his question.
What works best for you is always best.
I've spent millions on hair products. Ugh!
I will try the baking soda thing. I also heard about a dewaxer
for fruit that some people use for buildup problems on their hair.
Interesting what people will do for a beautiful mane.
