I was just wondering if there was some sort of blood test or something to find out one's terminal length.
Anyone know anything about this?

It also tells you at what age you're gonna start greying and also the age you will start balding... lol. Sorry for that, I couldn't help it. Unfortunately I'm afraid a blood test couldn't possibly do that.
Yet ;)

Do you write your own material?

Not a blood test, but if you can get a hair-density test done (to show how many follicles you have per square inch) then find out how many hairs you lose a day (yes, it's tedious, but it can be done) you will now how long it would theoretically take to "replace" your entire head of hair. Then if you know how fast your hair grows, you can multiply that by the number of years it would take for all of your hair to regenerate, then you'll have an approximation of your terminal length.
Hope that wasn't too confusing.

That "Ball" Guy
Excellent advice, and I have created a terminal length calculator in Microsoft Excel to get an idea just how long your hair will grow. I can e-mail a copy to those who are interested. My e-mail is ratfarm@frys.com Absalom
This method will give a sort of lower limit since the terminal length often varies from point to point on the head. Many men have a slight tendency to male pattern baldness in which they don't actually go bald, but have finer and shorter hairs in the areas typically affected by MPB. The longest hairs are typically on the sides and back of the head, which is just where you want them to be if you are going, say, for waist length (which I can approach, but never quite reach because of terminal length).
PLease email me a copy to may51mike@msn.com, thanks
