He, just found this site and been reading most posts. Ive been growing mine now for 6 months so it's quite long but not long enough hehe. Anyway here's a picture of it at 5 months, sorry bout the quality but i will take more on the 1st April as i will have a new digital camera :)

Looks great at 6 months!!!!!!! Your type hair appears to be of the type that may not give you all so much trouble during the so-called "Awkward Stage." A GREAT START!
Well trust me if i get out the shower with wet hair and don't blow dry it then it goes really messy. I use Gum hair going straight which i apply after a gentle towel dry, then i blow dry it and this product seems to really do the job. If im going out then i use my Babyliss hair straightners which work wonders.

When i first started it was a grade 2 on the sides and back and blended in on top so very short.
I would have loved to have your hair texture during the infamous Awkard Phase!
If you have much trouble controlling it while you are growing it out,
I'll be very surprised.
