I want to grow out my hair, it's currently only about 2-3 inches and reaches about halfway down my ears. My ears aren't flat against my head and I was just wondering what guys who are trying to grow their hair out do in this case? I can tuck it behind but since it's still short it looks bad. When I do that i actually looks like little "wings" sticking out behind my ears, since my hair is pretty coarse it doesn't flow easily.
Thanks,
dumbo
Hah I know the feeling when I was going through the ocward stage my ahir would look the same. With the little wings kind of like bad hockey hair. just stay persistant it wont last long. Im getting close to two years growth now (this summer). And im glad ive made it this far.
I am actually not too bothered by the wings thing, at least I know its growing, and thats a good thing, I like to know its growing.
I have been growing my hair for 3 and a quarter months (lol, sad of me to keep remembering, like I got an obsession lol)and am in the awkward stage, like you are, how many months have you been growing yours, any pics?
yeah do what the other guys say and just keep persisting! i had the same problem, but now my hair reaches a bit under the bottom of my ears and its not so bad
I suffer from the "big ear" problem too... All I can say is that, once your upper layers start covering your ears the wing effect deminishes...
I'm a year in and you can't see my ears anymore, they are covered by hair! And if I tuck it back behind my ears then it still looks fine. Infact with the volume of hair I have to tuck behind my ears I'm glad there a little on the large side cos atleast they keep the hair back outta my face. ;-)
thanks guys. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
I suggest geting them surgically pointed lol
