Hello everyone. I've enjoyed visiting this board for years, reading the text and viewing the pictures of all the great long hair. And I must say, I do appreciate the supportive nature on this board -- so civilized for the most part! I've never posted a picture myself and I may have finally figured out how to do it (not the most computer savvy -- a Hopeless Right-Brainer!). My hair is dark brown, curly and has lots of volume. I've worn it long for most of my adult life (44 in a couple of weeks) and last year decided to go for waist length, all one length, which will be at least a couple of years away. So now it's about eight inches longer than last year -- but you know how long curly hair takes with length -- if only it would be as long dry as it is wet in the shower! I like curly hair, in fact in suits me much more than straight (excessive blowdrying turns my hair to straw -- and humidity causes it to frizz -- gell helps a lot -- nor do I mind volume. Anyway, I thought I'd share ... link is:

As we discussed by email, I've copied the picture to pbase. The original was very large, though, so I resized it and sharpened it a bit.
hmmmm... pretty thick hair you have there. Maybe get it thinned? Trim up your underarm hair too.
Just suggestions
Good luck reaching your goal. Do you trim the top? It appears to be shorter than the rest, but it might just be the angle.
