First off after sleeping is it normal for hair to be greasy, flat, feel shorter and be fairly knotted? And second off im beginning to get paranoid about hair loss again. Today as I was showering a good what seemed to be 20+ hairs came out that were noticed as they were like stuck on my shoulders. Then when i was brushing my hair back about the same came out into my brush which is more then normal. And then I decided to tie my hair back in a tail and another big clump of hair came out in my hands while doing that. So basically I got minimum all my hair loss for that day within half an hour.
Yes, but not allways, try keeping it in a / multiple scrunchys or rubber bands, with out the metal, while you sleep.

Sometimes I loose alot, way more than you, and other times, just a few, that is probbalby nothing to wrry about.

I don't know how many are in a clump? Like a huge mass, or just a couple? Sometimes it looks like way more than it is. Try not to strees, just take it easy.
If it helps, I find I loose the most while washing and the first time I brush or comb it after washing. I am very carefull, and so the ones that come out were probably going to anyway.
Thank you. I had been told that sleeping with your hair tied back was a bad idea but now i think I will try it.
It just feels like you went to sleep with a big knot on your head.
It may SEEM that way, but I think that loose hair was just waiting
to come off. And once the weight of the water hit it, it did just that!
Every time I shampoo my hair and squeeze out my hair,
I get a small clump of hair that come off. This appears to be
perfectly normal, as it has been happening for almost a year.
And yet, my hair remains so thick that I could donate half to someone else and
still have plenty left over for myself!!
Try not to worry about it.
Thanks for the reasurance.
because its essentially being pulled on(lightly) by the water as your showering.
Yeah that is normal, but you may want to try hair vitamins like biotin, that noticably reduces shedding. At least it did for me.
