Ok, for a little while now Ive been having this problem, for some reason I started getting these bumps on my scalp kinda like pimples, and at first I thought it was the Infusium that I started using not too long ago, but I realized it wasnt till I started using the Aussie moist conditioner that I started having this problem, so I looked online to see if people had been having problems with infusium and nothing, I tried it with the moist conditioner and sure enough I found more than one person who had experienced this same exact thing!
And now im wondering has anyone else used this conditioner and had these problems?
You know what I just relized I had been having kind of what i thought were little bug bites or something on my head. But I recently switched to Aussie shampoo and conditioner within the last month as well hmm....
Holy cow, that is crazy, I get these little bumps on my head and I hate them, I've had to have them removed but I always get some, and I also use Aussie! However, I think I've had them before I started using Aussie... Does anyone have any info on this?
And to the first person who posted, can you post the links to the sites that you researched to find the side effects from Aussie?
I did a search on google for "Aussie Moist" and Bumps and a post on another message board showed up, apparantly a mother and daughter who both used it got these same symptoms.
Im starting to think that this may be some sort of allergic reaction to it, or maybe this is more common but people just dont realize that this is whats causing theyre problem.
Aww man, I really hope that it's not Aussie, cause it's the only thing I've used that I have really liked a lot... I don't want to have to switch again, I wouldn't know what else to go for!
So are you or anyone going to consider a change then? Or is it to small a problem? I might add I use some of my parents Nioxin shampoo and sometimes the Nioxin conditioner which are both very expensive. And I sometime mix and match them with the Aussie products.
Oh Im definitely changing, I stopped using it today when I washed my hair and so far so good, itll prolly take a few days for the bumps to go away, but if in fact this was the problem(which Im pretty sure it was) then Im sure as hell not gonna use it again, these bumps drove me insane for a few days and thats definitely not something I want again. So I may either go back to pantenes moisturizing conditioner or maybe find a new one.
I might just go to using the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner then but its quite pricey. I havnt heard good things about pantene products i thought they were in the same boat as head and shoulders? Has it worked well for you in the past?
Pantenes been great, I had just been using it so long I wanted to try something else, and apparantly it wasnt the best decision to make.
So what type of pantene do you use if there are different types?
I use the daily moisture renewal, It does a good job of keeping it from drying out.
Thats exactly what I thought they were at first too! This cant be a coincidence. Tommorow Im gonna start washing without it and see what happens.
Thanks for speaking up.
