I really don;t mean for this to be innapropriate, as it refers to alcohol, and I'm sorry in advance if anyone's offended, but...
Does anyone else think that their hair looks like crap after they've been drinking? I feel like whenever I have had some alcohol, and I'm coming down from it, even if I wasn't too drunk, I just look in the mirror and think I look like crap. I hardly ever feel this way. It may not even be the hair, it may just be everything in general. Does anyone else get this problem where they feel they don't look good after drinking?
I geneally FEEL good after drinking... Generally I'm not too bothered about the way I look - I'm normally looking for a bucket and a place where I can sleep... Any dumpster will do!
Naw seriously, I have a naturally predisposition to feeling depressed, so if I drink a lot I can amplify my depressive nature. So I'm on a downer, its normally enough to make me feel depressed about the way I look, so I know where you coming from.
Alcohol is best avoided if you have a depressive nature or if you have suffered from depression, the fact you seem more likely to suffer from low self esteme seems to indicate you might be at greater risk from depressive illness, so I'd say you should probably avoid heavy or regular drinking if it makes you feel this way.
Well I don't really drink much actually, and usually I feel really good and confident about the way I look, in fact the only time that I don't have good self esteem about it is when I drink... other than that I usually feel quite confident.
mmm i think i look like crap after i drink regardless my hair length.. my eyes get droopy, skin is all oily and "shiny" from the sweat...not a pretty picture...:(
That might just be your prevailing attitude while your drunk. Even while youre sobering up, you are still under the influence. Also, we tend to neglect our appearance when tipsy.
Ah, everyone looks like crap after a night on the town, the precise reason why Luna dosen't drink, although she has been known to have a little wine at dinner and she once out of curiousity (And her intrest in all things Victorian) had a nip of absinthe, it has no really odd effects, just another alcoholic bevrage, but it's content of alcohol is much much higher than anything else. That was just once, I've never touched a drop of the emrald poisen since

Funny you should say that, my mother gets the same allergic reaction as yours. And no, it's not nice to see, all she needs is half a lager to start her off lol.
