I have been growing my hair for about a year and a few months and have got a few trims to get rid of split ends and right now my bangs are a little past my chin and my back is past my shoulders and i was wondering if i should get alittle bit off my back to even up my hair so it grwos even or just to get slpit ends trimed. and also should you get split ends trim and if you dont will you hair still grow long.

Best thing you could do is read the excellent 4-part masterpiece written by Bill Choisser as to how to grow your hair long. It is (to we Longhairs) as the Bible is to a Church. Then you will REALLY know what to do.

Thanks for puting-on the your link Bill. I know the "masterpiece" you have written can be found on the internet, but didn't have the "link" which you have provided this gentleman. Thanks! I don't believe there is anything else like it available to we who desire how to and what to expect when growing-out our hair. Your advice sure got me "easily" to my present mostly 12" catagory as of today. and boy.............is Long Hair ever GREAT! :-)
