hello, i´m a basque boy(spain)and until january 2003 i`m growing my hair.
the thing that I want say is this: sometimes when I go to home, I up(I think that is say in this way) in the elevator, always say to me the same thing: you have to cut your hair.I don´t like the way that he say it, and the message too, I don´t like anithing from him.
I want you help, for the next time, what can I say to he to stay in evidence? I don´t know if I have explain well, my english isn´t good enough, I hope that you complain what I mean.

I understand what you mean, if you don't like his comments, just tell him to mind his own business, or ask him how he would like it if you always criticised the way he looked.
There are always people who will be rude like your neighbour. Most of the time they do not realise they are being rude, the sooner they realise the sooner they will stop.
Y tu ingles no esta mal, lo has confunido algunas palabras pero entiendo bien lo que dices. De todas formas su ingles es mejor que mi Euskara. ;-)

Hola!.... if my neighbour said that to me id say "cry me a river" or you could try freaking him out by doing your best newt impression from aliens and say "they mostly come at night....mostly" I dont think he'll be in a hurry to comment on your appearance if you totally freak him out lol.
Just try not to let it bother you, why should you care what he thinks? If you really want to say something, tell him you don't like his haircut either. Suggest that he grow it long, LOL!
I was going to say the same thing! HE is the one with the incorrect hair length, not you! LOL
