OK i have been look in the net for some good pomp pics and i can't find any does anyone know where i can find some. to thoes of you who don;t know what a pompadour is it is the hair style that the "rebels" wore in the 50's and eairly 60's, you might also know it as a D.A., duck ass, duck butt, duck tail. plz help.
Wish I could help you as to where to find photos. Perhaps under vintage Television shows such as 77 Sunset Strip? Never knew the name of the style of which you speak, but for a period of my life guess I must have been a "rebel" as I even wore my hair that way as did TONS of other guys. That type of style still lives, (though not in great abundance) out here in my section of the West Coast.
I wore one of these for years!! Try including rockabilly hair in your search!
