I'm need some more shampoo and conditioner soon and was wondering if there's any point to buying the more expensive brands as opposed to suave naturals which is what I use now.
I want my hair to be softer and less frizzy.
Thanks,
Keith
I dont know what relation price has to effectiveness. I use the Aussie products relatively cheap. But I also everynow and then use my parents nioxin products which run like 50 bucks each.
I've recently experimented with a Salon brand: REDKEN instead of my usual Supermarket brand: CLAIROL Herbal Essences/ Fruit Fusions.
To be honest I find the REDKEN shampoo great for softening and it feels much milder but I don't think much of the conditioner which doesn't really do as much to detangle my hair as the cheaper Fruit Fussion conditioner.
I don't know if I can really justify the differnce in cost between REDKEN: £8.00+ versus Clariol: £2.50.
The experiment is still in early stages so its difficult to pass a final judgement. But its looking like your as well with the cheap. I'd say pick up one of the lines that are supposed to Smooth/Sleek and see if that gets you the results you want.
Hi :-)
I'm interested in knowing what conditioner you have used by Redkin, as they produce more than one brand. If you have not tried it yet, you might want to try Redken Extreme Conditioner.
Theron :-)
It was their "ALL SOFT" line...

I've had good luck with Biolage Hydrating Shampoo. They make some killer conditioners too.
