Forgive me guys, for I have sinned. I cut 2 to 3 inches off this weekend. My hair had been long enough to put into a 6 to 7 inch ponytail, but it was only the hair from the back. In other words, it had started to look too much like a mullet. (It all has to do with what I started out with). So I cut a few inches off the back. Now everything looks a whole lot better, everything looks a lot more even. And now I can continue the journey knowing that as my hair grows longer, it will look a lot better. And if it looks better, I'll be much happier with it. Am I forgiven?

Well okay seen as you asked so nicely...
Naw serious Michael its your hair, trimming the back up is hardly a big deal - if your happier with your hair then great!
Not a big deal at all. I had to do the same last year to even it out the length.
...forgiving needed! When it comes to hair, and other things, you should feel free to do what you want (within reason, of course!), and if cutting a few inches of your hair makes you happy...go for it! I'm glad you feel better! :)
I feel you did the right thing. Now your hair will grow out evenly. I started out with a rat tail and it took about 5 years for every vestige of it to disappear. I never got trims. From experience I know your hair will even up on its own without trims but it takes a very long time. Absalom
Your hair is your own business. Always will be too so don't let others tell you different.
