How do you go about deep conditioning? And what are the positives and if any negative effects it has on your hair? And how often should you deep condition?
I deep condition once every four days, when I also shampoo my hair at that time.
What is it though just leaving the conditioner in for a long period of time?
The easiest I found is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle.
Just shampoo then use this (only need 3 minutes) and wash out. I usually follow it with Aussie Moist conditioner too but you don't have to. I do this once every week or two.
There are a lot of deep conditioning systems out there but it doesn't need to be elaborate or expensive.
Thanks ill try that since im already using other Aussie products.
Would infusium 23 leave in treatment count as a deep conditioning?
I just bought infusium 23 leave in treatment today.
Try adding about about 3-4 drops of jojoba oil to your reg conditioner, I use this everyday really helps with my dry scalp! and leaves hair Very soft and shiney - but it takes ages! to dry (which is good!) - used everyday I dont need a deep cond.
I guess the best deep cond (if you really want one) is probably kerastase mask intense...id be wary of drugstore brands as they'll probably just be reg cond but loads more silicone added and will cause bad buildup
