Hey!
I'm sure tons of you have seen the new star wars flick - I have started wearing my shoulder-length hair in the style that Obiway did - with the ponytail going from ear-to-crown-to-ear, and the back falling free. It feels great, looks great, doesn't look all too fem, and keeps me from getting pony tail headaches!
Has anyone else tried this? i reccomend it!

Are you perhaps getting confused between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn? Obi-Wan had a crew cut, except for a braid, which I swear was on the wrong side of his head for one scene. I'll have to see the movie again just to check. Qui-Gon, on the other hand, had long hair all over. I'm going to try to include links to images of the two from the official site, but I bet they will be removed at some point.
I was wearing my hair like that this morning. i usually hold it in that style when im too lazy to wash my hair in the morning.
It is Qui-Gon Jin and not Obiwan Kenobi

on this board has with *her* man, and he's doing it. Of course, now, if his job requires short hair, that's a problem.

I know he won't grow his hair, I think mainly because of his job. I did ask him once, and he just did not seem into it. He doesn't seem to be opposed to the idea of long hair on men, he just doesn't like the idea of it being on him.
Oh well, I guess I can still look :)

Yes i did mean Qui-Gon - my error (this jumping back to episode #1 has me messed up...)
I love the style - sometimes havving longhair can be limiting in the style dept. This adds a great possibility! I would probably look even better with a little bit of curl here and there!

I haven't seen the back of his head yet, but you can see where the hair is tied back.
But how does he tie it together ?
Does he use a hairtie ? Nobody has a photo of the back ?
