I went all out this time and posted four photos! ;-)
Matt,
Your hair is looking better all the time. It's very healthy and shiny. You have a great smile and i like the way you have an off center part. The ponytail looks good too, but I would recommend you trimming the neck hairs a bit. Other than that, thanks for going all out with 4 pics. LOL.
Peace bro,
ck
Thanks for the awesome comments and the advice! I don't think I'm going to trim it though.. the only trims I have planned are for length in a year or two. ;-)
Great Progress Matt - your hair seems to have grown pretty fast - I like the tail too - excellent work!
I'm really glad to hear the excellent comments about my ponytail! That's how I plan to wear my hair most of the time once it's a little longer. A couple of my friends from HS are tying the knot in June and I hope to have a ponytail to go with my suit & tie. ;-)
matt looks real awesome good job Cody
Thanks!
Man..........is that EVER awesume hair! Fits you perfectly. Thanks for sharing all of those pics.
Just curious, what hair products do you use and what is your Long Hair Goal?
Again, it looks great!
Thanks!!
I use Aussie MEGA Shampoo and MEGA Instant Daily Conditioner whenever I shower (about every 48 hours..). Then, every week or so, I notice that my hair isn't exactly how I like it so I use 3 Minute Miracle. I rarely use a comb, but I brush with a wide-toothed brush after showering. Then, I finger comb whenever it's dry.
Btw, I used to have to shower daily to keep myself "unoily", but now my hair soaks up the oil and by the third day I need a shower instead of *at least* once daily. I should mention that I am an oily person by family heritage.
I'm not sure what my goal is at this point.. I'm just growing to grow. :-) I imagine I'll keep it trimmed at mid-back.
Thanks again! :-)
My favorite one is the one with the ponytail.
Great progress!
Congratulations & good luck!
Thanks! With much luck and a vegan diet I won't lose my hair and I can keep it as long as I like forever! :-)
Your hair is straight, right? If so, how do you feel about this? Does it bother you, or do you like it?
- Brian
At times I wish I had more curls or at least some waves.. I guess the grass is always greener on the *other* side of the fence. Don't get me wrong though, I love my hair more and more the longer it gets. My hair keeps me warm when it's cold outside and keeps me cool (I sweat a lot from heritage) when it's hot outside.. and it feels soft and smooth against my skin. I've been told that the girls that I tend to like also "dig it".
Umm.. I guess I mean to say that I like it. :-)
Great progress. It looks like we started about the same time, except I started from nothing, hope my progress goes as well as yours.
your hair looks awesome!
i especially like how it looks in the bottom left picture of the latest update... how dry is your hair there compared to the march posts?? its looks a lot healthier and shinier!
Thanks!
It's dry, in the good sense. I took that picture about an hour after my shower this morning. I took the ponytail pictures a couple days ago after not showering for a couple days..
In comparison to the March pics, my hair was still moist from shower (with crappy super-salty-softened-hard-water at parents' house in the country).
The difference between your first pic and the last ones is amazing! It looks like two different people.
Your hair seems to be growing at an above average rate! Great hair!
looks awesome! you got great hair. I noticed that as the months went by.. your hair was looking all more of a same length, I mean.. It got longer but the back was starting to get pretty even with the front.. have you been getting trims? do you get them in only for the back of your hair? how often? keep it up, hair looks really good.
lol sorry for so many questions.
The last time I (yes, *I*) cut my hair was around July, 2003. I only trimmed the back because the front was still pretty short by comparison. My bangs are still a couple of inches from my ponytail, but they are getting close.
Apparently my hair grows pretty fast. [shameless plug] Maybe it's because I'm vegan.[/shameless plug] Or, maybe it's because I have a "high metabolism", which I attribute to my diet and lifestyle. It definitely grows faster than 6 inches per year!
I agree with what Bill discusses in "On Being a Longhair" and I curently don't trim my hair.
Thanks again for your enthusiastic comments.
your hair is in really good condition. no wonder the girls dig it ;)
If only I could meet these girls! I talk to a lot of girls, but I feel like I'm pulling teeth to get some girls to go out with me. What's the key to my success, englishgurl? ;-)
lol, the key to your success?? Well im no agony aunt but, ur sexy, u seem clever, maybe the girls u like are none of these things and theyre intimidated by ur hot looks and intelligence?
Hmm.. perhaps.
I think I probably go for the wrong kinds of girls. Let's see.. There is a foreign girl from Morocco that I like but who never returns my phone calls or messages; another girl in my Art class I *really* like but has a boyfriend; and a girl that lives a few blocks away that I went to high school with that I think *might* realize I exist.
Any suggestions?
