Hey guys:
I just stumbled onto this site,it's cool! I am starting to let my hair grow long again after a 5 years of having short hair.I was talked into cutting my shoulder length hair short by some well meaning friends.I decided a few months ago "It's my hair and I'm growing it long"! This time I'm not going to let anyboy talk me out of it.I really need your support and encouragement as I start on this journey.I'll try to keep you posted on the progress.I've set a goal for it to grow down to my waist or maybe longer...who knows?

You've got my support, Hawkman, as long as I've got
yours. I'm at the same place you are with growing
out a short haircut. It's been about 4 months and
this site has been a great inspiration to keep me
going. I've tried to grow it long before but always
gave up too early. Not this time! So good luck to

Hey guys, you have my support too. I've decided to grow back my hair under a lot of pressure of friends, realtives and people that I even didn't know. I said, no more advices about that, that's my hair, my life and I want my hair long, really long. I think is masculine, sexy, interesting and even people keep saying to me that I look better in short hair, that wasn't really me when I used to look to the mirror and saw that "nerd" in front of me. Don't give up, guys.

Just to give you a current description of me-my hair is currently just over the coller and the tips of my ears(I also have a 'stach and gotee just in case you're currious).I can hardly wait untill I can look into the mirror and see a man with shoulder length locks looking back at me.Andrew and Walter I'll be cheering for you all the way and keeping you updated(and looking for your updates as well)as I transform from nerd to man!

Hey guys...good luck to you all....I can surely relate to what you are all going through...Right now my is up to my chest...one length and straight. I have also received comments regarding my appearance when I had short hair....YUCK...everytime I look at my pictures when my hair was still short....I just can't believe that's me!!..I look like a geek in glasses!!!...To all of you....GOOD LUCK!!!...it takes lots of patience to grow hair....take it from me....I WAS THERE ONCE!!

Just adding in my support for all of you. I have hair down to my shoulder blades in back, but it's short in front. I now see that was a mistake: I should have let it all grow to one length. So that's what I'm doing now: letting the front grow long to match the back. It should take a couple of years.
I agree that it is sexy and masculine. I also really identify with the comment about how a long-haired mane can feel on a bare back: it feels great! (And, if I think about it too long, it turns me on.)
Hawkman -- let it grow to your knees, dude! Same with you guys, Andrew and Walter. Let's keep in touch.
