Hi All,
It has been since last year that I have taken side-view pictures of my hair, so I thought I would sit down and take a couple and share them with everyone at the board. Peace!
Was your hair in a ponytail before you took those pics? There appears to be a subtle crease along the length of your hair, where it might've been held in place by a hair tie.
I have been wondering when someone was going to bring that up. No, that is not from a ponytail at all. That crease has been there, growing further down my head as my growth progresses, for quite sometime now. It is most prominent when I comb my hair straight down in that manner. I have no idea why that crease is there, it just showed up as my hair started to get some length to and it never went away. It really doesn't bother me any and I have no desire to try any straightening techniques to get rid of it. I figure once my hair is down to my elbows it won't be near as noticeable. Thanks for asking and Peace!
I have the same thing. In my case its from the top layers growing out. The crease kinda marks where the top most layers hit the bulk of the hair. (Its common if you have wavy hair.)
Even if your top layers are all one length, Because the forehead slopes forward, the hair towards the front of your head will always fall lower, this means that crease sort of progresses downwards towards the front of your head.
It gives the same look as if you hair had been tied in a pony tail.
Considering the length it is today, I'd never have guessed your hair was as short as it was a year ago. You've really become a long-haired dude! Is there still as much a problem of your hair falling into your eyes and face?

Only at times when doing a job that requires a lot of bending over, which my job has a lot of with carrying furniture. So I usually wear a hat at work to keep it out of my face. Just casual everyday activity isn't a problem though. Peace!
Awesome. I would really like to have the length you have right now...just about perfect (for me).
Looks great, Treyn...have you measured the length lately? Just wondered what rate of growth after a year?
Way cool man, wish I was there! Very healthy lookin' too.
Way to go, looks great. Absalom
