Hi:
My hair is about 1.5 inches past the ears. Due to employment circumstances (for now), I need to get a haircut. I'm thinking of keeping it halfway down the ears and trimming the bangs to the eyebrows.
Does anyone have any ideas or pics of an "edgy" or "shaggy" hair style that can be made conservative when needs dictate?

Maybe something like this...
If I ever had to do that, I'd keep it long in front and slick it straight back with gel every morning.
Then when you get a chance to grow back it's a lot less time before you can pull it back into a tail. I've handled the "awkward" stage with gel like that too.
