Now, my hair is all one length just past the bottoms of my shoulder blades, quite thick and curly and for the record dark brown. The trouble is that my hair is just one big tangle. It is immpossible to run my hand through it when it is untied and the hairs don't seem to be independant of each other. I have to tie my hair up because when it is down, it is always there in my face and making the backs of my ears itchy. I don't like showers as the water doesn't seperate my hairs so I have baths and I have them in the morning otherwise if I go to bed with my hair wet, I wake up looking like I live in Moscow (big fluffy hats). So when I've washed my hair I tie it back straight away so that it dries, a little less knotted. Also when it has just been washed, I put a bit of gel in it to make it a bit more contolable but that either makes it rock solid or again too tangled. so, the problem is that my hair is uncontrolable, tangly, thick, no style, and I have new growth at the front of my head that forms a perminant halo, sticking out all over the place. What should i do short of having a undercut and having a fight with a lawnmower? Bearing in mind that I live in Britain and we don't have all this capitalist wonder products.
Do you use conditioner? If not, I think that might help. If conditoiner isn't an option, (and I know this sounds gross) use mayonaise. It smells finny if you dont' rinse it all out, but it's a great detangler and is great for your hair too. Hope this helps.
