Chris, awesome hair man. Awesome! Give me a few good months and I'll be right where you are. What's the goal length? The full beard works great with the hair as it is, man. You get any flack at work about the hair? I think nearly all of us face those things from time to time. Thanks for sharing the pics. Good stuff! Josh
...for all the kind words. To answer a couple of questions, I'm a musician so I don't have the hassle of a corporate office trying to tell me how to wear my hair. (In fact, I work at an old-west theme park, so it's really more of a plus around here.)
And as far as my goal, I don't know. I hadn't really set one, other than to see how long I could stand to grow my hair. It's now longer than I think it's ever been (including 9th grade which was probably the previous longest.) I made a pledge last year not to cut it until at LEAST this August 14 (my next birthday - I wanted to go from birthday to birthday with no cutting at all) so we'll see what I'm thinking when the birthday rolls around.
My gut tells me that I'll keep it long as long I'm living here in Missouri, maybe longer. But by August it is going to need some serious therapy - split ends, a style of some sort - I'm just to vain to let it continue to grow unchecked. I really liked what Queer Eye did with the third guy (the long hair guy that kept his long hair and just had layers or whatever put in.) And I really like how Hugh Jackman's long hair looked (I know they were extensions, still a great look.) So we'll see. If I find I can keep it looking hip (rather than hippie) I'll keep it long and who knows how long it'll get. A grand experiment. =:@}
