Hi
Ok so as those of you who read my last post might remember, i went to the barber and was royally screwed over wen he took off about 4-6 inches :-(
Now the situation is, i have abt 6 inch hair in the front, near the forehead, and side hair/bangs of abt 4 inches...
now sitll on the upper side of my head but near the very back, the idiot ******* took off too much and the hair are like 3-4 inches there as well, so if combed out as a center parting its a pretty visible difference from the rest of the hair...
and on the back of the head its abt 1,2 inches throughout :(
now wot i wanted to ask was...shud i get the hair on top all cut to the one smaller length? or just comb it back, wait for it to all grow out, and then equalize it to a longer length? pros and cons of both?
ill try to include a pic in the next 2-3 days...
thanks
Think I would go with the above idea as the best solution for now. (But I am saying this without actually seeing a photo of the damage that was done in that "trim.") Hope you are able to post a pic to the Hyperboard. Then we will ALL know much better of advice to give. Sorry this unfortunate event ever happened.
Didn't you learn your lesson, to stay away from barbers? If you go again, this will just set you back more. If you can comb it in a way it looks okay, maybe you should wait a little longer to go to a barber again, like maybe "never"?
Hi Hairlord
I think I understand exactly what you mean! Two different barbers did this to me on two separate occasions, the second time I swore I'd never go back to a barber again!
What you wind up with is the kinda feminine style, which gradually gets longer towards the front right? When it happened to me it looked terrible as it was cut in a wedge at the back and rounded upwards, sort of concave in shape.
I suppose your wondering what I did? On both occassions I cut it off and started over - but at the time I wasn't going for long hair. That said, if it happened to me again now I'd still cut it off. Your going to need 8 inches of growth to get back what you lost, why do it feeling bad about your hair cut?
I'd go for about 1-2 inches on top with a slightly longer fringe (eyebrows) kinda spiked cut, and short sides. Gives you enough to play with for some fashion styles.
[Sorry not what you wanted to hear.]
