  I rented the movie "Passion in the Desert" recently. It's an odd story, but the setting is beautiful, and the hero has long hair (he's a French soldier c. 1800). In the earlier scenes he wears the hair above his ears in a thin braid on each side.

    This is an excellent movie! I caught this on cable a few weeks back, but sadly only caught the second half of it. I picked this movie up in the video store only to get distracted by something else. Sorry I did. I'm going to rent it this weekend. Thanks for reminding me. Very powerful movie!!!!!
