Hey, my hair is around the top of my mouth at the front, and reaches a bit lower down at the back... its also quite coarse
In the shower, when I wet my hair before putting the shampoo it, my hair all sticks together into like big wet, thick clumps completely covering my scalp. This makes it extremely hard to apply the shampoo to anywhere except the surface of my thick wet hair... to get to the scalp is difficult and always results in hair being pulled out as I try to apply the shampoo to my scalp/roots..
Does anyone here have the same problem/any suggestions on how to apply shampoo to your scalp when you medium/long hair???
Thanks for any help
Hair will get pulled out.
You could try wetting your hair with your head down, so the hair is hanging and therefore not clumping on your hair, then apply the shampoo throughout the length before straightening up again.
Another idea is to dilute your shampoo with water in a second bottle and apply it that way, so the diluted shampoo is easier to spread through the hair.
That's all my thoughts, hope it's of some help :)

Do you comb/detangle it before you get into the shower?
Yep... Then when I put my head under the shower, my hair forms like a thick, impenetrable layer covering my head
I would try to really come it before you get in the shower and then only apply a bit of shampoo, or mabey try conditioner first then shamopp to try and get the tangles out before. God luck also try a like thin shampoo not a thick sticky one !!!
