Hi,
I was wondering that since long hair is not too common, do any of you also dress in a unique manner, rather than following the fashion herds?
Personally, I go for the neat-casual Italian styles but since I'm not in Italy/ Europe, it gives quite an individual look because no-one else dresses like that here.
Cheers
My entire wardrobe consists of nothing but black, save for one Edwardian poet shirt. As for styles... for formal occasions, I definitely prefer dressing like I just came from the 16th century, and I have own a Civil War tail coat for a bit of contrast. Otherwise, I always wear jeans and a t-shirt. Here's a list of clothing stores I enjoy window shopping at:

Nyghtfal,
From years ago I have been impressed with your fashion sense. However, I haven't seen many posts recently that show it. How about some samples?
Thanks.
I'll see what I can set up.
Yeah, I have about 3 shirts that I love and I cycle through those (my wardrobe is quite small). Plain jeans, a semi worn out shirt, and some sandals. Comfy and still looks good!
Most of the time I wear wide leg JNCOs, the widest being
50" and the rest 30" o 44" wide. I've worn thoose for
a number of years now. I like the way they look with
my long hair. I never wear a suit, never get dressed up.
I like tie dye shirts and shorts or jeans if the weather is cooler. Tie dye looks great with long hair. Absalom
While I too prefer my birthday suit to any made of fabric, I also love my clothes. If you think about it, your clothes are pretty much your second skin and as such, are very personal and I feel mine say something about me whenever I leave the house.
I love tie-die tops too... they just feel.... right... when you have long hair. I wear some baggy jeans, some slightly flared jeans, some tight jeans with my childhood-beloved ripped kneeholes, I love tight tops or loose ones, just depends on my mood.
Recently found that a good pair of jean-shorts, just over knee length, suit my longer hair, and that's nice, since it's getting into the hot days.
I do blether on, don't I???
(blether = ramble. I'll have you guys well versed in Belfast slang my the end of the month)

We have a great retro clothing store here in Asheville, NC, where I buy a lot of fun, inexpensive shirts (including some cool guayaberas). Aside from that I wear mostly t-shirts or solid-color knits with jeans, khakis or cords. Just really comfortable, simple stuff. I've tried to follow fashion trends, but they just don't work for me; I end up looking like a big ol' dork.
Oh, and the store's called Hip Replacements. How great is that?
Cheers,
Jeremy
Not one for "unique" clothing myself.
Jeans, jogging bottoms, sweaters and t-shirts (the odd one with a picture) is what I wear.

hmm, I like baggy trousers, but not the type that makes you look like a demented rapper.
I wear T shirts, trousers, and Baum V2 trainers.
I strongly dislike tight fitting clothes, especially trousers!
I have noticed that the longer my hair gets, the worse regular 'everyday clothes
looks on me.
Denim, of course, always seems to go great with long locks,
as does leather.
T-shirts seem to go with everything. Plaids? Hmmmm.
Sometimes I like to try a nice frock coat.
Catalogs of some more out-of-the-ordinary clothes would be nice.
Summer months:
A sleeveless shirt, tank top or vest, shorts, bare feet.
Winter time:
A sleeveless shirt and a vest, shorts or jeans, sandals.
Snowstorm:
I wear boots instead of sandals

I usally am wearing biboveralls and eather a denim shirt
or a tye-dye shirt, I like the hillbilly hippie look.
I also like to wear kilts, caftans or loincloths whenever
I get the chance to
I've often worn bib overalls many times in the last 30+ years.
Often wore jeans with holes in the knees.
Always blue jeans, always a T-shirt, although I'll add a longsleeve shirt over if the weather is cool or I'm feeling on the formal side. And I often wear a bandanna in a band around my head.
Where I celebrate variety is in my bandannas and T-shirts. I have them in lots of different patterns and colors. Tie-dye T-shirts are favorites, but I have lots of other patterns, too.
A lot of people think I look like Willie Nelson. One year I went down to Castro Street on Halloween and at least two dozen people thought I was in costume as Willie Nelson, when in fact I was just out of costume looking like I always do.
I think it's fair to say I'm a unique looking guy, and I like that, although I'm really just being "myself" in the way I am driven to be by my soul.
