It's been 2.5 years since I started growing my hair, and I'd like to have the ends trimmed to even them up. There's this section in the middle that's a few inches longer than the hair at the left and right sides of it, and that section curls at the ends much more than the ends at the left and right sides. It looks weird.
The pictures at my web site don't reflect this because I comb carefully right before snapping the picture. But within minutes after combing, it's back.
Any suggestions on longhair stylists in Seattle?
Hey Greg,
i checked out your site and gotta tell ya that the pics of your hair growth "process" are very encouraging for those of us that are in the process of also growing our hair out. Have you taken any more recent photos? Do you plan to post any from when you started and had really short hair with the "sandpaper feel" on the back and sides- those would further encourage me as that describes my look right now.
Thanks for the motivation.
Hi Mike,
Glad to hear the pictures are motivational. :-)
I'll probably wait a few more months before taking more pictures.
As for short-hair pictures, I have a portrait done in '95 before I started growing it out; I just need to get my scanner working. I don't have any pictures showing the back, though. :-)
Greg
Greg,
Thanks for the reply... I would defenitely be interested in seeing the pics of your short hair. Like I said, I am just begining to grow my hair out so I still have short hair. I expect it to be a 1 1/2 to 2 years before it is the length I want it- looks like from your pics that is how long it took you. Did the time go fast, or did it seem like it took forever for your hair to grow out?
Thanks again,
Mike
Seemed like it took forever. I found it helpful to keep telling myself "It's longer today than it has ever been before, and it will be longer tomorrow than it is today."
