I have a massive split end problem. Should I trim my dead ends all over or use special conditioners? I know the best way is to trim it but my hair is still short and the trim would set me back even further! Please help!
I hate to say it but you'll probably have to trim. Once split, the hairs will stay split, you can't fix them, and growing the splits long may not look too good and will result in serious tangles.
I would recommend using a good conditioner, a mild shampoo and generally treating your hair gently (eg no harsh brushing, vigourous towelling etc).
