Hello everyone,
I have a quick question about growing your hair long. I'm currently trying to grow my hair out and I've been experiencing a more noticeable hair loss. I'm wondering whether growing long hair would cause PERMANENT hair loss for men.
Thank you so much for your advice. Hit me back :)

I wouldn't worry about it.. I grew my hair out long and I been noticing hair loss also... I'm sure it'll all grow back and no one will ever notice it being thinner. you know, it's more noticeable to see your hair fall out when it's long than when it is short.. sooo probably your hair was falling out as often when you had it short in the first place and you didn't notice.. don't worry, it'll grow back. This is a perfectly normal thing ( I think )
Absolutely not, hair loss or male pattern baldness is genetic and has nothing to do with how long your hair is. Fear not, you can go ahead and grow your hair with perfect peace of mind. You will not go bald from having your hair long. The reason you notice more apparent hair loss is because each strand is longer. If you lose 75 strands of hair per day and your hair is only 1 inch long you will see only a small wad composed of 75 inches of hair. If your hair is 6 inches long and you lose 75 strands per day you will see a wad composed of 450 inches of hair which is 6 times as much in volume but the same in number. Absalom
