Hello! I´m trying to post a pic but I can´t. How can I make if my photo isn´t on a personal web page, if I have on my computer?

On the posting/reply there is a option which will allow you to upload a picture from your computer, if its to big usually someone on the board is willing to help or you could try something such as yahoos photo album or making a site. I hope this hopes.

Use the Photo Upload Option at the bottom of the "Post A Message" Or "Reply to Message" Form.
The Photo must be under 50K which means you will probably have to resize it and Save it as a JPEG.
My Advice is to resize to 400x300 pixels and Saving the photo as a 50% Quality JPEG - this should always generate a file under 50KB.
You'll need Photo Editing Software EG:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Corel PhotoPaint
- Paint Shop Pro
- Microsoft Photo Editor

And that stuff tends to cost money. Seeing this post today motivated me to throw up a web page for those who'd rather do something else with their money:

Thank you for your considerations of all of us who don't have the time/interst in getting all of the latest in software. Posting pics is not something I do often (if at all) so to have your offer is great.
My pleasure. I have an especially soft spot in my heart for the plights of longhaired men. [grin]
Most of that software costs money and it is not necessarily easy to use. I figured guys who "all they wanna do is resize a photo for the hyperboard" oughta be able to just do that without jumping through lots of hoops. Jumping through hoops is for circus animals, and longhairs are not circus animals. (Though we do have more awesome manes! [big grin through hair] )
It took a few hours to write that software, but it will save the gang here a lot of time, far more than I spent, so it will be worth it to my eye.
