Hello
I know Dawn falls into this category, but is anyone else here in a long haired family where both the husband and the wife have long hair, or even the children? Or even brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, or uncles? Just wondering your experiences, it's always fun to see a long haired family go by.
I guess I fall into that category, too. My hair is straight, blonde, and just past my waist. My husband's hair is straight, brown, and
about to the middle of his back. We have a 1 year old son with a
cute pile of fuzz, although it's not long yet (see link). I will
probably keep his hair fairly short until he is old enough to
decide for himself how to wear it.

We are one! Mine is to the bottom of my shoulder blades, though a little sparse due to MPB. My wife's is about the same and growing fast. All three sons, two adult and one 15 year old, have ponytails too. The menfolk all have curly hair, so it appears shorter than it really is, except when swimming. I'm the only guy in the family who styles it beyond a brush and a hairtie. I blow mine dry with straightening balm and Frizz Ease. I want it to look as long as possible.
All the men in our house have hair to at least our shoulders. We have 4 men in our house hold. My father, Leon's, is the longest. I often have people stare or ask why I wear my hair this way. I say, "Why do you wear your hair short?"

I visited Mackinaw Island this summer and could not believe the Mother and two children I spotted from behind,waiting to take a carriage ride.All three had beautiful down past their waist red hair and all three were in pony tails.When the children turned around, one was a boy the other his sister, id guess at ages 12 to 14. I heard her talking to some laides standing nearby and said none had had haircuts, just the ends trimmed and that she would never allow the children to cut it short.
The boy seemed to not pay any attention to others where it concerned his hair.So I just assume he liked it long like his mother and sister.
All three had straight hair and just slight curl,almost like after being braided.It was clean and shiny and obviousely well cared for.
I have a long hair family. My fiance and I both have long hair and intend on keeping it that way. My daughter's hair is currently growing (she'll be 3 next month).
