Now that we've migrated to new software and it seems to be fairly stable, I'd like to start a thread on links. I see links being of two kinds:
The first kind will be commonly used links, such as:
* Contact webmaster
* Post a message
* Email a picture
The other kind will be less commonly used but perhaps just as valuable. These could be such things as:
* Other forums
* Other hair resources
This thread is an opportunity for you to post links that you'd like to see have a permanent place either on the main page or in a page linked from the main one. So post away.
Note to spammers: this is not an invitation to spam the board. This thread will be moderated just like any other.
How about "Advice" or "Question"?
My compliments on keeping the board running smoothly and looking at constant improvement.
Can you describe what would be behind the links? Are you thinking of something interactive or yet another FAQ?
My apologies for a slow response, my dial-up connection has been quite unstable the last couple of days.
I wasn't thinking of an interactive link, but that might be a possibility. My thought was that, judging by some of the posts, the FAQ does not get read as much as it should, perhaps some more descriptive sub-categories might be helpful (advice on care, products, expectations for growth, etc.....)
Just bouncing ideas around.
Some other forums that may be of interest to the community here-
Hairboutique.com's Long Hair Support Board ably moderated by Dave Decker and his knee length hair, if nothing else always worth a look to view his avatar photo of himself.

Yahoo Groups Floor Length Hair Club hosting Friday and Saturday evening chats, I'm there to have the pleasure of talking with long haired guys though the conversation tends to be long haired people taking about other things but good for live hair help if necessary. Disclosure here- I am the token female moderator and doing my darndest to turn it into a more gender balanced site and away from guys drooling over inane fantasies of improbably long haired women. Not only does greater discussion of men's hair issues improve the board but it also is a lovely thing to frustrate those that are horrified of the thought of long hair on a man.
