I added some more pics of me, including my first progress pic I took on May 1st 04. I don't have any pics of me before with short hair though, so nothing to compare it with. I don't know why my hair looks so horrible in the B&W pics. I was having a bad hair day I guess.
My hair is a lil wavey, not completely straight. The way you see my hair in the pics is how I always have it. It has been 8 months since my last hair cut. I have never had a trim. People have been suggesting to me to get it trimmed since I have some damaged ends. I don't know what to do. Should I? Comments and suggestions wanted.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures. They were all taken with a polariod camera.(except the B&W ones, they were taken at my high school) I don't have a digital camera or a web cam. Also, I am 16 years old. (don't think I said my age here before)
I don't know how to add titles to the pics yet, but the last pic with the white backround, where you only see my head is my May 04 progress picture. The rest were taken last month sometime.

Re: trims, I think only get one if your hair is quite damaged, and make sure they don't cut too much off.
Your hair looks good and not damaged...at least from what I
can see in your photos.
Your hair is definitely in the longer stages of growth.
Can't see why people wouldn't understand that you are
serious about growing it!

Your hair appears to be in good condition to me and your are off to a good start in growing it long. My advice is to just let it grow for 6 months to a year instead of trimming it now. Absalom
You look cool with long hair, esp. in 3rd pic.
And 4th pic also you look cool in, do yourself a favour, and don't cut your hair at whatever cost, it suits you far more:)

Thank you for all the positive comments! I won't trim my hair then, I will just keep growing it. I can't wait until I can put my hair in to a pony tail!
