I'm 20.I recently was blackmailed into cutting my hair. my parents said if I cut my hair and shaved my goatee I could continue living in their house. So I did, I cut my hair just like they wanted and shaved my goatee. my dad told me later that he would never have kicked me out, he just wanted to see me cleaned up. I did'nt know what to say. I told him that I had long hair because I love it, and he lied to me to force me into cutting it. I feel like I lost so much growth time. my hair was 8 in. now I have a terrible crew cut. I will never cut it for anyone ever again.

Damn even hearing stories of other people unwillingly cutting there hair off makes me sick. I really want my hair to be well donw into my lower back and chest area and im already half way there if not more. But besides the parnoia that it isnt growing all the damn hassles of people complaining about it and thoughts of having to cut it off make me feel sick.
Kaj I'm sorry to hear a story like that, I'm really sorry you felt you had to cut your hair. But at least you know that next time you can call their bluff.
my parents made me get a trim even though i told them i wanted to keep it- lesson learned: screw parents... if you ever get rich dont give them none...
Too bad... but.... It will grow again :)
At least you learned how low they could get, and didn't lose anything but some growth time :)
I think it's sick though that you thought someone would REALLY blackmail you to get you to cut your hair. Do those things REALLY happen!?! I would be very sad...

Its ok man. My grandparents hate the fact that i have long hair and love it. they give me so much HELL because its not godly like . they told me "what would jesus do" and they also told me i would go to hell if i did not cut it. I told them the bible says not to judge people and if they were christian they would not judge mr. They wont force me to cut it cause im 18 so be strong.
