I've heard this can have interesting results. Anyone?
Yes- I do often! A regular conditioning sometimes leaves mine feeling limp and heavy. So I put in the conditioner, shave, etc... then jump in the shower. It leaves it lightly conditioned after I shampoo, but not overly so. On a day when I want a deper condition like I did this morning, I do both~ condition before and after. It feels great today.

I usually apply conditioner both before and after shampooing. I put the conditioner on the wet length, then apply shampoo to the scalp only without rinsing the conditioner out. The conditioner protects the length from the drying effects of any shampoo that flows down the length as I shampoo, then rinse. After a good, thorough rinsing of all shampoo and conditioner, I condition the length again, then rinse well again. It takes a little more time, but the effect is worth it. By the way, on some long hair sites you will see this technique referred to as "CWC" or Condition-Wash-Condition.
I use the same routine as above, about once a week. The other
washes are with conditioner only. Works for me!
