In case any of you all don't know, this is Virginia Military Institute. A very prestigous military school up in Virginia's mountains. A co-working and I were up at the school working on some audiovisual equipment. Both of us, young guys (I'm 29) with long hair tied back in ponytails were working on the sound system. A lot of times, my co-workers and myself are frequently mistaken for students when working at colleges. This time, however, the professor in charge of the room we were working on laughed and said "Well, there's not going to be any mistaking you guys from the students here at this school!" It took a little time for use to catch what excatly he meant, but then it hit us....the hair!!!
Say, did you get a chance to see Stonewall Jackson's grave? Or how about his statue at least? Stonewall, a great man.
I feel sorry for the poor students who are not able to enjoy the immense pleasure of being a
longhair. THEIR LOSS NOT OURS GUYS!!
KEEP IT LONG!!!
