Thought I'd share this months progress with everyone.
If anyone remembers, though under a different board name, I shaved it all off back in november due to extensive bleaching damage. Well it's just a little past my eyebrows now. Finaly starting to notice real progress AGAIN! hehe
You'll have to forgive the darkness of the pic. I really need to move that stupid bookcase away from behind my comp ;P

Looks good so far. I'm growing mine out, first time ever, so each day is the longest it's ever been for me. I think I'm a month or two ahead of you in length, I can pull the center of my bangs to my nose, and I'm getting into the stage where my bangs are falling into my vision all the time.
How long do you think it'll take you to reach your previous length?
The pic is from about a month ago, so it has grown a little since then.

Last length was around 2 years of growth, more or less. (didn't keep any record of the growth stage back then) So, I'm looking at about the same amount of time heh. I may reach previous length seemingly a bit faster, but not by much.
I started taking a one a day vitamin and bioten and eating much healthier than before, around the time I started regrowing, so I "may" knock off... a months time Only time will tell though:)

hey dude you're doing well. When I first saw your pic before going to your progress site I knew that you would look great with long hair and going to the progress site confirmed that. I'm so obsessed with long hair that I think any one looks better with it (Travis Fimell looks a shadow of his former self without those long golden lox, I doubt there will be many discenters here) but seriously you look hot with long hair KEEP IT GROWING!!
I discovered this board only about 48 hours ago so I'm not up with everyones situations but I notice you mention bleaching hassles leading to you (NOOOOO!) having to shave it all off (BIG OUCH) There are organic colouring products available which some salons have and I have been using for nearly three years which seem a lot less harsh than other bleaching methods I can try and find out where these come from because although my local salon has it I don't know what the availability is is in other countries so anyone interested leave a post and I'll see what I can find out and report back to the group.

Big Ouch indeed hehe. I had tears in my eyes as I clipped off the locks. I must say though, it was the best thing for me to do. I am much happier with the quality and health of my hair now :)

Thanks for sharing the pic. Looks like you are doing great! Sometimes learning the hard way is the best lesson of all, and also the most painful. It happens to us all. Good luck to you now in your journey into much longer hair.
