I've been searching a few shops for coconut oil, I tried ASDA, a few local shops, and Tesco, but no one sold it. Can you point me in the right place to buy it. I could do with something to define whatever bangs i've got, hopefully making them longer than they look.
You should try a health food store they should have ita cold pressed oil is the best kind i think
You can get jojoba oil from holland and barratt... doesnt smell as nice as coconut but its the best hair 'oil'... its actually a liquid wax.
Oh and the body shop does something called 'coconut hair shine' which I also have, its basically coconut oil mixed with other waxs... looks like shoe polish...mmmnn I love the smell of shoe polish! (btw it doesnt smell like shoe polish! : ( )
I couldn't find jojoba oil in Holland & Barratt. I bought mine in Selfridges (Oxford Street, London, top floor near the bathroom accessories - but maybe that's a bit too specific...) I found it made my hair a little greasy - it's difficult to get the amount right. Currently I'm experimenting with not using any products after washing and conditioning...
Hey surferdude,
I get my coconut oil either from a herbalist's store - homeopathy kinda place, or from the Body Shop (more expensive), or you can get it in some chemists - can be used for skin also.
Hope that's of some help. Best to try phoning the shops first to save a trip around town.
