My hair is thick, curly, & gray (I'm 50). I've had a mullet for years; pony tail with very short hair on top. Since mullets are out (so I'm told) I started letting all my hair grow out 6 months ago. This is my first time for true long hair. I'm in the unruly, "bad hair" stage & I do have days I question my sanity but I keep going. I've been reading all the tips & advice here and do appreciate everyone's willingnes to support one another.
Most comments I get are positive with only a few negative. I'll keep reading & post when appropriate. Thanks.

I like the mullet so what it not the style.......Way i see it grow your hair the way you want.........and the HELL whats in style.......DAMN SHAVED HEADS AND BUZZ CUTS.THAT WHAT MAKES YOU LIKED NOW
Exactamundo - couldn't agree more Blais - if you're not "instyle" then your Unique, and uniqueness is what drives fashion in the first place - popularisation is what makes things "fashionable".
I think your Mullet & Moustache gives you a really distinctive look Blais - you're right to be proud of it!

Your mullet looks good and you still have color in your hair. I think I'm using the "out of style" excuse just to let it all grow & see what it looks like. My hair is very thick like yours and it may look beter in a mullet. I'll wait & see. I can always trim it back. I am keeping my pony tail through all this.
