Hi, I just wanted to see what people thought of this. When I take a shower, and I run my hands through my hair, I often get hairs that come out...over the period of the shower, this can number about 3-7 and up to 10 sometimes....now...they also seem to have for the most part whitish bulb things on the end....I can't tell if this is normal or not because I had kind've long hair for a guy, bangs down to my chin, for a while, then cut it short, and now it is growing out again. My family traditionally has a high hairline and mine has always been that way, but my hair seems to be thinner now that it is growing out again though I don't know if it is my imagination...any ideas or suggestions?
I get this too, when I shampoo my hands are full of hair. The little 'bulbs' on the ends are the roots. However if you compare them to a hair you pull out yourself, the pulled out hair has a much deeper root, so i'm thinking maybe these are weaker hairs that are coming out. They also for me anyway seem to be thinner in diameter than the ones I pull out, also a little lighter in colour. They hopefully get replaced by deeper rooted hairs that are stronger. Plus its normal to loose 50-100 hairs a day anyway so I'd rather loose them in the shower than have them pilling up around me.
