Hey, my hair is currently around my mouth/just above it at the front, and just below collar length at the back.
When it was short, it was VERY thick, or at least felt thick... but recently I've noticed that compared to other peoples hair its quite COARSE, but not overly thick..
But recently, as my hair has grown longer, it is feeling quite thin on the sides and front/top... however, it still feels quite thick at the back.
Has anyone else thought there hair has felt thinner as it has grown longer?
by the way, I am only 17, and my whole family (including grandparents), still have quite thick heads of hair, so I'm hoping its not some form of premature balding.
Your hair is unlikely to be thinning so I wouldn't worry about baldness, not at your age and not with your genetics.
My Hair has consistently felt thicker as its grown out, but hey - thick hair isn't always the easiest to live with so be grateful for small mercies ;-)
Your hair may begin to FEEL thinner (after the major awkward phases)as it gets longer.
For the longest time my hair felt extremely thick. It flipped
and expanded in places where I did not want it to.
But as it got longer and longer, my hair got flatter against my head
because the hairs were starting to become the same length.
