Hey I was wondering how people applied shampoo/conditioner
-Do you rinse all your hair back and then apply the shampoo/condition as your hair is pulled back
-or just let the water fall down on your hair (so it is down all over your face), and then just rub the shampoo/conditioner in?
-is there some other method??
Just asking because my hair is very reluctant to go backwards (the 'projection angle' at the front where it points forward is very acute), but this is the way I keep seeing people applying shampoo on the television ads.
I rinse my hair back, then apply, thoroughly, but carefully, working it through my hair. This seems to work well for me, so I guess I have an obtuse projection angle! (never thought of it like that before)
After I completely rinse out the shampoo,
I apply a generous amount of conditioner to my head
and work it throughout my hair.
It's especially important to get your conditioner all the way
to the very ends of your hair...as the is the oldest and
needs the most attention and gentle care.
I just brush my hair back over my head, getting any tangles out, then I condition the ends of my hair first, rinse, apply shampoo to the top of my head, lean backwards and rinse so the shampoo goes down the length of my hair, then I condition again. Also I use cool water.
Well, first i stand under the shower and get my hair wet for a couple of minutes
then i move my hands around my hair....then let it fall straight down
then i start lathering shampoo in a circular motion (after i apply some shampoo to my scalp) and when i'm done lathering, i just push my hair back with my hands
then i apply soap and then rinse it, then i wash my hair
this seems to work well for my hair, and it feels really clean/soft/silky from the shampooing
i started this technique the last month and now my hair is better than ever in the awkward stage, or else before it was horrible, now i AM prepared and am going through the awkward stage
wish me luck
