So ya still havnt noticed any growth since before april that I can think of. Starting to piss me off im going to have to think of something to do if there is still no more progress over the next few months. My hair is fairly long I guess but its still no where near my goal.
i would try: check your diet, exercize, use natural soap...

What do you mean by natural soap?
shampoo without harsh chemicals (like SLS, there was a thread about it a while back)
massaging the head may also help improve circulation on the scalp and should promote growth. i've heard good about it.

This is one of those times when you might want to consider a trim. Before you guys jump on me, let me speak! : )
I reached a similar point awhile ago. I have come to understand that my ends were really quite damaged and my hair was stripped of moisture. I switched from my harsher anti-dandruff shampoo to some new stuff and got an end trip - my hair grew roughly three inches in four months. I was amazed. I'm not saying that trims are good all the time, but if your hair really doesn't seem to be growing, and you're sure it's not your imagination, you may want to consider it.
Yes but hair grows from the roots not the tips. So I dont see any good coming out of a trim at the momeny but of course ill consider it down the road if nothing progresses.
Agreed - a trim won't make your hair grow. Even if the ends are damaged, the hair folicle grows from the roots so it will continue to grow out. Though if your hair is really badly damaged, breakage of the ends could be affecting your terminal length. This is where trimming can seem to make a difference.
More practically though, are you sure your not gaining any extra length? Its really difficult to get any visual reference points once your hair is passed your shoulders. The best thing to do is take some pictures now and compare in 1-2 months time, that should give you enough time to see if any progress is being made.
I had pictures from a banquet I went to in December and there doesnt seem to be much growth from that point and thats 5 months ago.
