I have it on good authority that the attached image is of the male band members, not female band members as originally posted on the House of Daved Samson page. The page has been updated with the correction.
My wife thinks that some of the butts at least look more like those of women than men. But there is certainly 2-3 with thinning crowns (looking more like male pattern b-word). Can we say the b-word on a long hair board with frightening everyone :))
i don't imagine there'd be any -uh- fallout from using that word.
-uh- groan...
(tee, hee)
I spent a long time looking at the picture before deciding the players were women. I have to admin the butts, or probably more accurately, the hips, were part of what influenced my decision. The problem is, with the clothes they are wearing, you can't really tell.
The person who let me know of my error has worked at the House of David properties so is in a position to know.
Victor and Paul:
I thought the same thing for the same reason, but then when I looked at some of the front-view pics of those guys in their baseball pants, you could see the same effect. Do you suppose that could be one of the side-effects of celibacy? ;-)
Seriously, I thought it was a truly fascinating article, Victor. Thanks very much for posting it.
. . . jim in san diego.
p.s. I do have to confess to wishing there were more details about what the morals charges and that "blood cleansing" ritual were all about. [my bad]
I looked at the picture and think the hems on those silly jackets and the overall bell-shape of the jacket-bottoms emphasize the curves of their buttocks, making them look more feminine.
I wonder if their beards look more like men's beards or women's beards (ducking and running -> -> -> ).
