The site looks good so far!
My only complaint would be the music. I hate it when music
on a web page starts automatically without asking me. You
should make it optional or get rid of it.
Thanks for the compliment. The site is still under construction, so it will (I hope) get better. As far as the music goes I just put it on tonight and haven't decied whether to keep it or not. Your suggestion about making it optional is a good idea but I think that I'm going to wait for a little while before deciding what to do.

It's a good idea to have a site devoted to different hairstyles
and hairlenghts on men.
good idea for a site.. a couple of the mid-back pics could almost qualify as waist length.
the 19th century section would be more if you could find actual photos and paintings from the period rather than a picture of brad pitt dressed for a role.
you stress the current cultural taboo against guys wearing their hair long... how about a discussion board emphasizing discrimination issues over styling advice and what conditioner to use? perhaps the board can serve as a foundation for users to do related legal research and post their findings- a place where the serious related issues are discussed.
there is a shortage of serious (non-porno or sex oriented) pro-longhair sites- victor's (this site) being one of the very few.
Or how about encouraging folks to post here on Victor's board? Our community isn't so big, and this board isn't so busy, that we need to fragment the community just yet. (But we can dream....)

I like the idea of discussing the discrimination aspects of men having long hair, as a matter of fact I book marked an argument by a lawyer concerning an Illinois case in which he says it's ok to fire a guy for wearing long hair. In fact any attorney that makes that case should be disbarred. Illinois has had an "Equal Rights Amendment" in its constitution since the early seventies and these attempts by corporations and their attorneys to enforce their will over the "Law of the Land" amounts to nothing less than a criminal attempt to deny men their rights.
I know that my nick name does not match with my taste for the longhair men, but I am sure it does not matter a lot to you.
