I've been growing my hair out for about a year now. It was short when I last cut it and most of the back can fit into a tail. But the front is still not long enough fit into the tail. For now when I go to work I have slick it back so the hair looks "neat". Are there any do's or dont's I should know for taking care of my hair until it gets long enough to fit in the tail. I've never had long hair and I'm 31. So I just have no idea how to take care of it.
Till Later,
Greg
You are just on the "out-post" of making it, so hang-in there. Man, I can tell you that, the phase you are presently in seems to take forever...........but you WILL get there. :-)
The Gel doesn't quite do the trick in really holding the front hair in place as you would like it to. Thinking of it as "Temporary" (which it is) you might consider pinning your hair behind the ears. Anyway, who says these pins are just for Women? If you are lucky, you can find the type that will match your hair colour and have what looks to be hairs running across them. When in, almost invisable.
I used them until I could get all hairs into a Tail and they were a rather good solution. Of course there is nothing like finally letting your own hair be able to do it..........but until then, you might want to give the pins a try.
Good luck
