Greetings!
I hail from the land of ice and snow (not really) of Scandinavia.
I've always had a fascination with long hair, and I've had shoulderlenght before, but didn't take proper care of it, so I decided to cut it. That was in August I cut it, so it's been growing for ca. 9 months now since then.
Being around the whole metalscene here is also one of the things that's made me want to grow it out long. I'm aiming for the middle of my back right now, but I'll see what happens!

Wow that's really far away from where I live! Excuse me, Welcome to the board dude! I kind of know what you went through with your hair. Last summer my hair was cut for my sister's wedding, now my hair is exactly the same length as last summer and now I wonder what It would have looked like right now If I hadn't cut it, plus I've had many trims thanks to bleaching my hair. I like the heavy metal as well. If that's what your talking about. (sorry for the long message of crap about myself!) ~Peace~ Blonde
It was pretty much the same for me, before I decided to grow it long I'd bleached and dyed it several times, so it was pretty frail in the end.
I can tell now that even if it's shorter, it's looking much much healthier!
And yes, heavy metal it is! (and other subgenres of metal)

Nice to see ya, looks like you're off to a good start. I'm a metalhead also, not many where I live, so it's always good to meet more. Which country are you from, if I may ask? I spent a few days in Sweden once, just curious if I was anywhere close.
