Exactly one year on (although I did get a few trims).
I started off with a number 1 skinhead last year.

what styling product is that?
I dont actually use a styling product. All I do with my hair is straighten it with ceramic straightners now and then and also use almond oil for the shine.
Well Done, 1 year is a big milestone, well grown & great hair.

Thick, straight, well-behaved hair
(at least it looks that way in the pics!)
Your hair looks 'heavy' and moist
as opposed to being light & dry.
This should allow gravity to do its thing better!

I find you very great, but why always parted your hair in the middle ? I think parted on the side with long bangs on your forehead should be better (just my opinion); what do you think ?
Anyway, I like the picture with your bangs combed straight forward.
Neither of those are likely once one's hair grows longer of course. Bangs combed straight forward interfere with seeing. [grin] And once your mane becomes heavy, which its increasing length will cause, gravity will exert a strong argument for "parted in the middle".
Few shorthaired men part in the middle, and one can take advantage of that fact to spot other longhairs. You know, the ones with it in a tail and facing you. You can't see their ponytails, but the center part is almost always a sign that they have one.

In the 60s when so many guys had long bangs, the most of them parted their hair on the side with long bangs covering their forehead and had to shake their head to the side for keeping them out of the way. This was very exciting and even a bit provocative.I loved it.
