And the Back...
Which is still a little wild but much more settled than in previous months. The extra length is helping now its getting beyond my shoulders.
Ow...my eyes..the shine, are you trying to make us go blind?:P

Wow, the length looks fabulous at the back!
Little thing I've noticed, that although my bangs are short, the back has already a couple of inches head start as the neck line is always lower, so it looks a lot longer at the back, something I didn't fully realise.

I like the back that way. Do what everyone says and wait two weeks before you get the back trimmed. Keep up the good work.
I wish I had the guts to grow my hair out like that. I can't get over society's pressure to look a certain way-I really want long hair!!

If you really want something you've got to grab it by nuts and go for it, don't let anyone or anything stand in your way.
I overcame OCD which caused me to progressively cut my hair shorter before I could grow my hair out. Believe me, beating your own screwed up mind is a damn sight harder than beating the rest of the world's.
What I'm saying is. Screw everyone else, they're not stopping you growing your hair. What's stopping you is your own fears about what others that will think. Get over that and its clear waters ahead.
At least based on the way they look in the photo, your locks are really beautiful! They are the type I want to run my hands through! :-) I think you also have the type of hair that looks "kewl" when it's falling over your eyes & face.

Thanks for the remarks regarding the recent trim. I think it will be a while before I go back under the cape. I'll need to find someone who understands my desire.

Your welcome, I'd agree your hair will be fine for a few months to come so there is no need to go back. Though before you do, post here and we might be able to offer some advice on what to say to the stylist so you get the most out of the experience. :-)

I guess I'm a typical case of "grass is greener..." but I wish my hair was a bit more straight.
Depending on the weather in singapore, my hair is either quite curly or just wavy. Wavy is ok, but the curls are annoying...
I'd love to have hair like yours.

Outstanding growth, and healthy looks. Any advice you give on hair growth should be taken very seriously. I was glad to hear that your wave are starting to settle down, since I've got some serious waves going on, hopefully mine will start settling down in the next 6 to 8 months.
Your hair's hairlength and its golden color bears a striking resemblance to travis flemmel's hair...

Thanks to everyone for their great comments, I've never had such a positive response.
Which to be honest I didn't expect because my hair is a bit dry and frazzled at the moment. The only thing I felt good about with the photo was the parting which I've moved off centre. :-) I've gone for 4 months since my last trim, and I still have no plans to get another, but I'm starting to notice a few damaged ends particularly at the front and my hair is taking a battering from daily blow drying even on a cool setting.
But then we are always are own worst critic.
