i tried some bees wax in my hair yesterday to see what would happen. At first i hated the feeling. Now the back has taken on the look of long ringlets and looks really great. Sorry no pics.
Has anyone else tried this?
why would you want to do such a thing?

bees wax? Um, how thick is it? I use it to wax my face sometimes. Its really good for that if the beard is long enough but man does it hurt. It just doesn't stick too bad to the skin like that sticky goo they sell on tv (not "g'nads")
Is it like pomade or something?
It is mixed with lanolin so it's pretty soft, similar to pomade
Why would you want to put conditioner in your hair? Or shampoo? they're just chemicals after all.
Beeswax is good for the hair, assuming you don't use a lot.
well i dont actually. i wash my hair with natural barsoap, or just water.
and uh, let's say shampoo is not exactly as sticky as beeswax.
Oh? good how? how is it supposed to help anything except attracting dust?
to condition your hair, aloe is a much better solution that wont make your hair all sticky..

It helps seal ends and it keeps the "scales" on the hair strand down, helping reduce frizz
I've never had a problem with it attracting dust, neither have either of the two dreadheads I know.
Besswax isn't all that sticky. It's definately less goopy than aloe, and it will stay on the hair strands longer. Now I'm not kickin' aloe, I think it's a good thing. I'm just saying don't kick beeswax.
That "Ball" Guy
I used to beeswax my tips when my hair was yet unlocked. I've used very small amounts to help tame frizzies in my dreadlocks since then, but generally tend to avoid it.
